Eric, you didn't mention the year model. However, regardless of that, if you do not know that the coolant hoses have been replaced in recent years, you might want to consider doing that. I got the replacement kit for all hoses (a couple missing) from one of the online vendors and did them all. The hoses not included were the heater hoses and one other one that has a curve and a change in diameter. I was able to get the heater hoses and a suitable substitute (two hoses, spliced with a metal connector) from NAPA for the other one. The archives have the NAPA hose numbers required for that one, and seems that lots of other people have done it that way, too. Sounds like you are doing a fair bit. If you won't be driving it this winter, then the hoses could wait a while. But an engine is a terrible thing to waste. mcneely ---- Eric Caron <ecaron1@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > Listers, > > Getting my Bus to the mechanic takes a lot of effort so while there I'm trying to do any prevention I can. I plan to drop it off for service later this week. The Bus is new to me this year. It is running great.
