I've had a lot of 'regular' buses as daily drivers, several of them Vanagons but only one was a westy. As a daily driver I liked it. As a camper it was good when we were going to stop long enough to put the top up and I liked having the 'house' there ready to go (some days having the house, Jimmy Buffet on the CD & Key West preprogrammed into the GPS was a great help with for my attitude). Usually I never noticed what was inside behind me.... unless I was going to pick up 'stuff'. When ever 4x8 sheets were mentioned I hated having all the built ins. Rob vwrobb@gmail.com
