Hi gang! So I just finished changing all the cv joints. The drivers side seemed fine nice and tight with decent grease, the passenger side on the other hand the inner grease was really runny and the joint fair. The outer seemed the problem, grease was dry and almost chalk like consistency and the joint a bit rusty a bit loose and 2 bolts that I pulled straight out without unscrewing? Just finished with dinner and cleanup, about to go for a test drive and confirm the clickety click/vibration has been resolved. Thanks again for the help! Really messy greasing new joints that took about a tube and a half of Mobil One synthetic! Velma 82 1.9L AAZ td westy |
