When I had my '84 Vanagon repainted in 2004, I purchased a complete set of seals from The Bus Depot, and the body shop used those seals when they reinstalled the glass after the van was repainted. Were is the best place to purchase the new seals as a cost saver buying a full seal kit. Since it is a Westy, I am planning on getting the Vanagon sprayed with bed-liner material. We love camping off grid and not looking forward to scratching a new paint job with brushing up against bushes and low tree limbs. I was wondering if one with no experience can re-install the windows. I am pretty handy. Plus I was wondering what to do about window tinting if the windows are out, replace window with tinted glass or get the tinted film install after window are re-install. I was told the bed-liner spray is great and last a life time. If I spray the pop top one can walk on it as a lookout stand, not bad. I going to find out about weight differents vs. Painting. > > Thanks, > Scott Greiner > Mesa, AZ > The Doghouse > 1982 Westy Diesel 1.9 AHU
