We use one when we camp at our local beach summer campout where we're parked for many days in summer heat
And space in the incamper fridge is valuable for the food stuffs.
We hook it up to a bulk 20# bottle and it keeps the drinks cold and easy to access.
We use a dometic 3way cooler style fridge unit.


They can be tough to find but if you are diligent they do pop up on the rare occasion.
In fact I have 2 now.
