That's pretty cool what that guy on the Samba did to lengthen his pop top! Keep in mind the EV Westfalia is a Weekender that is much shorter than the EVC, which is a Winnebago designed top. It's not worth the trouble IMHO. There is much more curve in the Vanagon sheet metal top, and the EVC is made completely open from the front seats to the rear with a flat panel across it.
