I like this idea. I had an idea I've posted a couple times hoping someone would run with it. Use one of those portable roll around ACs that connects to a window by a hose. This way it could be left home when it's winter. Strap it in maybe behind the passenger seat. when parked, use campground plug in. when driving, power it from a battery/inverter setup that is charged from your second alternator that replaces the stock AC compressor. biggest downside for me is the bulky spacehog it will be in the living space. Your idea fixes that nicely. Edward
