there is a lot to that question - so much more than meets the eye -
the short answer YES HAUL with proper loading and securing - these vans
are 1 ton trucks -
the long answer is -
what sort of shape is your vehicle in -
are you two thirds rusted through on every seam -
drum brakes __ or Disc - how are they - in top notch order or just around
the block pump twice to slow down - three times to stop
And at the risk of commencing yet another tire thread - How are the tires -
been sitting in the sun for 7 years - or maybe in the PNW - you have been
sitting in the tall grass and rain - have you had flats that were driven on
and then repaired -
have you got really decent LT snow and ice tires - or rain rated - do you
have chains specific for your tires and wheel combination - have you put
them on even once in a test -
you mentioned traveling cross state - but no mention of the state - even
hawaii gets snow on some part of it - (chains)
is your road of choice a twisty windy uphill all the way there - down hill
all the way back
and the last question - cause it is friday - is your grain Genetically
Modified - you may be traveling through areas where GM grains are banned
and if you are discovered transporting through you may be opening your self
up to a whole world full of bureaucratic hurt - not to mention that you
have to have gluten free grain when travelling in a VW Van - (hey i dont
make the rules - look it up in the "internet" ) which is the newest way of
learning really important and truthful information)
