After several weekends working on this I am ready to put the headlamp back. Now I find there is no way I can safely reinstall my homebrew headlamp adjusters with the bucket connected to the van (I'd need three hands) so I need to disconnect the high-beam. Can anyone tell me how to disconnect the high beam without breaking the socket? I unscrewed the socket unit and undid the holding clip but there are still two wires connected. I do not want to break anyhing else, so far everything I have touched has broken.
