Whatever it is , is not going to get better by itself . I have pulled mine to be looked at and would advise the OP to do it as well . We agree that it is a bearing inside the transmission and a tear down will make it evident . I should have mine open in a few weeks and report back my findings. In the meantime I drive on a borrowed Transaxle from the collective hoard
