Keep in mind that is going to be 10-15 PSI of pressure - so not a great spot for a band-aid. If you do try and patch it, perhaps an extra wide hoseclamp over the patched area - very carefully tightened so as to be snug, but not crack the plastic... but sounds to me like you need to fix those pipes properly.
