Hi All, Installed a Propex recently and needed to add a second battery which I have done. Because my usage at the moment is light, I went the inexpensive route and added a second group 41 battery from walmart ( liked the free two year replacement if I kill it). I have vented the aux battery compartment to allay fears of an explosion. I have run 6awg wire for all my connections, have fused the run to a Blue Seas relay and a Blue Seas fuse panel. Given the new fuse panel and ACR, I thought I would eliminate the oem relay in the aux battery box and connect the Dometic 12v, and the water pump to the aux battery, but like the safeguard of only allowing the fridge to run in 12v when the engine is running. I worked on this late into the night and I am really please with all of the 6agw connections I made, but the Bentley has my tired mind boggled. Can someone walk me through disconnecting that relay and the two ceramic fuses? Thanks, Finn in Taos 87 Westy Pooh 89 Westy Roo |
