My seats are still comfortable and in reasonable shape...but how about taking existing seats to a shop and have them re-done? Anybody considered that? There are still upholsterers out there that do great work... We do that in the motorcycle world...have a shop make us seats that use the existing framework but are fit and upholstered to our liking. If I were forced to drive my wife's Subie Forester all the time, that is what I'd do to that one...that seat gets me in about 1hr no matter how I pump up the bolsters, move the back, add pillows, whatever...It just plain does not fit me, but it certainly could be fixed so that it does allow me to drive comfortably..... |
