I figured out a long time ago there is nothing on the road today - nor likely to be - that gives me the utility I want and enjoy. I expect to have a Vanagon until they lay me to rest. In the meantime - I enjoy futzing with my machine, making trip, camping, etc - building those memories. If the budget can stand it - go for the pleasure and enjoyment of the upgraded and modified machine and having something different. You will ALWAYS get attention!
