Even though I'm still waiting to get my '83 Vanagon Westy up and going on all four cylinders, my wife and I drove the 30 some miles from Lakeland to just past Dade City today for the 25th annual BugFest, this year BugVegas, interesting since I just moved here after 21 years in Las Vegas. We were amazed but maybe should not have been at the acres and acres and thousands of fans and many hundreds of beautiful Volkswagens of all models, vintages, and so on. Can't wait to get mine running for next year, and before then, to attend a show her in Lakeland just before St. Patrick's Day (mine happens to be dark green and white and was Saoirse ('freedom' in Irish) before I got the classic Nevada tag. Had to leave a bit early for mother-in-law's medical emergency, but otherwise had a wonderful day. As we were leaving, an "Elvis" was performing!

Best,

Bob
