The old blue-tip wrench (oxy/acet) is invaluable in the Northeast. You *cannot* operate a shop without one. Another less dangerous/more portable thing that often (smaller fasteners with less mass) works is freeze it spray.. which can be the purpose made stuff with lube, or an inverted can of dust off :)
