That's a great idea John. I'm sure many could be sold.

one of these days if I run up against an Idler Stablizler problem on a 2.1 vanagon and I am out of control boxes for it .. by golly..I am going to retro fit an Auxiliary Air Regulator from a 1.9 waterboxer.. or even better..I have a Subaru one from an SVX engine .. simple system .. let's air around the throttle plate cold to increase idle.

the 12 volts supplied to it when the engine is running heats a heater inside the device that affects a spring .. that changes how much air it lets through .......after a few minutes or so the valve is closed and idle is normal.

Electronic idle control is nice of course. 'normally' ...the control for the Electronically controlled Idle Valve , like on other Bosch EFI systems, is inside the ECU .. but VW didn't get to that with the 2.1 waterboxer.

The Kiln will be onboard Vanagon equipment I assume .
