Before going down this route I suggest looking at an open source FI system that already works.

Did you try to call & I did not answer? I apologize but I never answer numbers I don’t recognize because I’m tired of sales people trying to sell me life insurance, health insurance, Obama insurance, merchant services, very expensive money and the latest, greatest “guaranteed to make millions” investment.

Interesting website: http://arduino.cc/

I'm sure I know less of this than you John but....

It has a section on Hall sensors:

http://playground.arduino.cc//Main/InterfacingWithHardware#Magnetic_Hall

My Digifant pro manual shows that the IS unit uses input from the distributor hall.

My guess is that PS and AC switch inputs should be "simple" enough for the right person. (read: not me ;)

Would arduino interface properly with the connection to pin 1 of Digifant ECU?

Neil.
