Below are my messages from about 2 years ago. I remember the TriFlow never did quiet it and I did also try PB Blaster, and then I think more TriFlow, then gave up. Still always a bit of squeal and I resigned myself that I would need to pull the thing apart eventually. This summer I thought I had lost the low speed of the fan but #2 and #3 still worked. I think what happened is that it just suddenly got very quiet and I wasn't used to that! Now that it's cold I might actually want to use the thing so today I turned it on low with the engine off and it is working! It's so quiet I can't hear it with the engine running. We'll see how it does this winter when coldER temps arrive.
