Jim's idea is a good one. I have a PWM controller in my Syncro using a manual potentiometer. An inexpensive fix (about $12 as I recall). Unfortunately I can't get you any readings as I'm too busy, not at home, and have no engine in my Syncro! Easy to replicate though, and a good way to collect the data needed. For those of us who are programming challenged it's easier to simply become the arduino...
