Subject: identifying wires at the fuse panel?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252

Howdy.

I installed a headlamp relay kit last night in my '83 diesel, but when I pulled the fuse panel down to get access to everything, seven different wires came off. I think everything is back together, but…

My front passenger parking light doesn't illuminate I have a gray wire with a red trace that also has an insulated female connector that I don't know where goes. Maybe to the connectors behind fuse 1 & 2 for a marker light? nothing turns on if I plug it in.

and I have a 10g (?) red wire that has both male and female insulated connectors daisy chained that isn't plugged into anything. Could this be off to the silver socket?

Bently has been kind of confusing for these, so I was hoping there might be some wisdom from the list. Theres no smoke, yet.

Thanks.

Dave Flagstaff, AZ '83 Diesel Westy -- 'Gus'
