You are not going to see a punk sitting in your van with the alarm going off trying to start it (with the ignition disabled)

Sorry Stuart, but I see that often (maybe not a punk trying to steal it, but how would I know?)....Someone sitting in a vehicle with the alarm sounding and people walking past, shaking their heads or giving the noisy vehicle-sitter dirty looks. Almost every time I visit a busy city...I see those scenes. So common it's laughable. "Wolf! Wolf!" cries the car alarm....and everyone walks on past......

Who's guaranteeing the embarrassed-looking person messing around in the vehicle is actually the owner? I am sure car thieves have learned this non-reactive behavior to alarms.... and the "good ones" just ignore the alarm, should they happen to trigger it.
