        Sometimes, but because of the enormous amount of time it takes to get to the motor and put it all back and the low cost of a new motor, $60.75 on my webstore, why would you want to repair it ?  Make sure the new motor has a cap over the end bushing before putting it back in.  The new ones I’m getting now have the cap from the factory.  This prevents the dirty air from wrecking that bushing, the major cause of the motor failing.  That bushing is the very first thing the dirty air from outside hits on its way into the van to be heated by the heater box.
