I did some searching on the web, and found the Dub Box site: http://dub-box-usa.com/home It looks like that VW Bus trailer is an after market trailer, made in fibreglass, and no VW bus are used (destroyed) in the manufacture process. Images available at: http://dub-box-usa.com/gallery http://dub-box-usa.com/foodevent-cart It appears they offer complete units, and a DIY vesrion based on a fibreglass shell. Cheers! If you are back again to the dealer, would it be possible to get more photo of the trailer, both outside and inside? It looks like the body is mounted on a single axle boat trailer. Do you think it is made of more than one olde bus? That seems like a cool project to make a VW trailer from two bus bodies. One could even use a Vanagon. Once the engine, drive train and heavy items are removed, then the weight of the remaining parts should not be too bad. You would be able to keep all the good stuff of the Vanagon, and just get rid of the WBX issues. Forget the ECU upgrade, engine swap, steering upgrade.... just make a trailer.......... Cheers!
