Alistair, I hope you don't mind if I ask where in Canada you are? Only because one of my teaching colleagues at Algonquin College in Ottawa has a friend who has just bought a Syncro DOKA, in need of 'engine work', and I'm wondering if it's the same vehicle (which would be one more for the 'it's a small world' theory!).

James Ottawa ON '91 Westfalia Weekender (but thinks a Syncro DOKA would make a cool addition to the fleet...)

Its in the shop right now (injector pump leaking) and I have seen it only on the lift. When you have another opportunity, take some more images of the interior driver/passenger area and the wonderful interior slat wood finish. > > > > Cheers! > > Stuart > > 1986 Vanagon GL 2.1L > > From: Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> > > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > Sent: Wednesday, November 27, 2013 12:00:30 PM > > Subject: slightly OT - MB L319 D camper > > > > My neighbour bought this last summer, I finally snapped some pics. > > > > The interior is quite nicely done, can i draw your attention to what look like a miniature fold down bunk on the wall. > > > > http://shufti.wordpress.com/2013/11/27/mercedes-benz-l-319d/ > > > > alistair > >
