Yes, that's what it says. Now I notice it has no rating for DC:

Contact Capacity: 16A(8)A,250V AC Resistance load: 16A Inductive load: 8A

I wonder what it can handle in the 12vDC vanagon world? It's probably some kind of solid state switch I imagine, maybe it has a DC rating if you opened up the thing and looked around.
