Turns out the push pull cable I was asking about has a few names: (1) Bowden cable Like our HVAC controls - appears to be a solid wire or cable inside a sheath, ends frequently shaped from the wire itself. Sheath and wire can be cut to any length. (2) Push pull cable / Control cable The two names seem to be synonymous. A fancier version of a Bowden cable. Stranded cable inside a sheath, with fancy ends that slide inside one another like a piston (on the end of the cable) and cylinder (on the end of the sheath), eliminating the possibility of cable buckling. Thanks for the many responses! I knew I could count on you folks! t johnson_90MV |
