It sounds like the Hall effect switch in the distributor controls the timing of the injector firing, not just the spark plugs and mechanically disengaging the distributor from its drive allows you to turn it while engine is stationary...thanks, that is very helpful. Logically, shorting across the fuel pump relay will give me active fuel pressure to watch the injector outputs while turning the dizzie. If the 2 on the left bank are firing as I think they are, then the 2 on the right hand bank should fire at the same time and if they don't then logically they are plugged up or something is amiss in the wiring which I think is doubtful. Is there a diy way to unplug them?
