I'd like to ask anyone that becomes aware of a recent theft of a Vanagon to repost to WetWesties and vanagon.com. With over 2,000 subscribers on WetWesties there is going to be a large audience and more people that might spot a stolen Vanagon. Based on what is being reported on The Samba there has apparently been many more that the four or five Vanagon thefts around Seattle than I've seen reported on WetWesties and vanagon.com . Many of us do not read The Samba on a regular basis where these reports may also show up. And to any with the info post as much as you may have. And any info on recovered Vanagons would also be of help, especially location of the recovery, condition, and how the theft might have been accomplished. |
Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of
Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection
will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
