Zoltan,

If the transmission is shifting with a bang, you may be approaching the point where there will be a bang and your forward motion will cease. Reverse will still work. I had had taken my van to an A/T shop at the sound of the first bang, I would have saved much grief and may be some cash. Based on my experience with my '84, your A/T needs serious help.

I don’t have a good idea what to do with it, if any, to have it back to good order. > Anyone? > Greetings to all in Christmas spirit. > Zoltan
