I have an '81 air-cooled. It has a blower in it. The '80s didn't; that's what my (pre-Bentley) VW repair manual shows. But didn't the diesels have heat from hot water like the waterboxers? So wouldn't the heater box have a core and connections? Or does that stuff fit in the same box as I have?
