With help I should say. I can't do it what quickly working by myself, or if I have to go by something. Taking shortcuts like not removing the steering wheel, taking pictures of how far the heater cables go past their clamps so you can get it back just like it was, having everything on hand so you don't have to go to the store, having cracked and reassembled the heater box several times and knowing what to expect, all add up to a 45 minute pull working alone, and maybe 30 with help. That leaves three hours to crack the box and replace the blower if you have one or more helpers. It just isn't what it's cracked up (or down) to be as far as a difficult job, especially if it's a late model with the top two heater box mounting bolts behind the grill. That's worth 15 minutes right there.

As far as pulling bug engines goes, you should have seen it done on my brother's dune buggy. The only thing I can think of that had to be disconnected was the starter cable, the wiring to the coil and alternator, and the accelerator cable. Just minutes.
