Thanks for that link to the Samba information Jeff. That gives a better picture of what has been going on. As Jim Arnott just pointed out an immediate broadcast/distribution about a recently stolen van gets to many individuals that would not be looking on the Samba. It's kind of like an emergency broadcast of an impending weather event to everyone vs. the weatherman posting a note on a cork board at Safeway. Everyone gets the message at once. Probably half or better of the subscribes to the WetWesties (and several other VW camping related Yahoo groups) are interested primarily in camping and travel and don't do their own work or mods. So they probably aren't even aware of The Samba. And again thanks for posting the link.
