Thanks for clarifying that Mark. Figured that was the case. Also wondered if there was a possible "negative" off shoot if applying constant power to the fuel pump.

If there was poor residual fuel pressure, or more importantly, the fuel pump was really inefficient (worn beyond spec), would the pump cycle per 1/4 turn of dizzy cause the fuel system to pressurize enough to cause injectors to spray?

As you and others have suggested, my money is on incorrect plug wiring but then Steve wasn't asking for bets. ;)
