I would suggest that one possible concern are the fuel hoses you're using. This has been commented on before. Info should be in the archives.

I don't recall the exact PN etc but search Gates online and find fuel injection rated (higher PSI) hose that is rated for ethanol blended fuel. I installed Gates 5/16" hose on my '88 and '81. The '81 has a different engine but in terms of fuel hose, not really a factor. No leaks and neither seem adversely affected so far.

I've used fuel sourced in US and Canada. Up here, some pumps state "up to 10% ethanol" others may not show any percentage but of that I'm not certain.
