how about it's connected to a motion sensor and when any raccoons come snooping up on your van at Oh Dark Hundred Hrs ..a light goes off and spooks them away .. or ..a camera shoots their picture.

come to think of it ...forget the common term ..Deer Cams perhaps . people leave them attached to a tree out in the woods... some motion...like any animal moving in front of it , and it snaps their picture.

or ..it turns on your coffee brewer .. and the aroma in a while wakes you up. That would be very neat I think.

which of course is only a 'timer function' not a 'get X in' and 'Y comes out', function like you are trying to find an application for.

You have automatic fuel mixture control on your van of course. No choke knob ..so it's not 'all' manual control .

there's more I'm sure ....a miles counter sets off your 02 reminder light. More yet too if we think about it enuf.
