Time is money. I worked at a front end shop for 5 years, before that I was turning wrenches on helicopters for the Coast Guard for a lot of years. I was doing a good job, helicopter quality (more than just put together correctly) on the a set of rear brakes when the owner of the shop came back to remind me that some guy was paying the shop $40 an hour for me to do more than was required for the job. "Time is money" he said as he was walking away.

All the guy wanted was new brakes in back. If we saw something broken then that was a different story but we weren't going to rotate & balance the tires just because we had half of them off to do a rear brake job. The last time I looked the shop rate was up to the $90 an hour range. Time is money.
