Subject: Distributor Woes - Resolved!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

For giggles and grins - given the aggravation of having an engine that turned readily would not start - and suspecting the Hall Sensor - I pulled the distributor from my '91 Carat project vehicle =- stuck it into the '88GL giving me problems - and it fired right up!!

Conclusion? - Hall Sender for sure.

Still have to set the timing. There seems to be a little timing difference between the two engines but that's no biggie.

But I at least have both of my 88GL's back on the road Just in time for Christmas.

Thanks to all who helped~

John
