Dear no power

there is likely one problem with many possible solutions -
alternator gave up
diodes died
voltage regulator gave up
wires have come undone
ground is faulty -
fuse or fuse block -
alternator belt broke or is slipping -
alternator requires tighter hold on van -
Battery is juicing and not holding juice -

just before the turn up to crystal mt. maybe saved you from a life of
dependency-
naw just  kidding you gots a vanagon - your done -
