One video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtig_iWahD8 Note that a plastic welder has no flame - it is an electrically heated air nozzle, basically.

I got the Bus Depot gray water holding tank, that is to be mounted under the kitchen drain under the van. My van has A/C so there are 2 hoses/liines running through the area under the van where the gray water tank mounts. I used a dremel to cut a section out of the tank, turn it over and plastic weld it back onto the tank. Worked beautifully and is very easy to use. It's also easy to apply more plastic material, kind of like using welding rod. End result is that the weld created a perfect seal that does not leak.
