I have experienced that downside. Had a failure of the rely that controls the dim-lights for my Volksiebus. Very peculiar - but it happens. One must just deal with it when it happens. And electrical faults are gong to happen, sooner or later. Sometimes things fail right out of the box. Had a brand new $5000 Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) device - the big thing back in it's day - fail right out of the box. Had to send back to the manufacturer for replacement weith another brand new replacement. And it can happen so quick. Jus4t had a coil failure. Yesterday it worked - this morning it doesn't (actually a few days ago now). If it's electrical - things just happen that way sometimes.
