I put dual Fiamme airhorns on my '87 Westy with a relay, all down in the stock horn location, and it was not long before the elements got to the setup and corroded all the relay connectors, necessitating replacement and weatherproofing.

I added the relays for headlights and have been useing 80/100W bulbs for the last 5-6 years. The only other failure that has happened annually is the headlight connector. Which is very easy to replace, and they do not/have not failed at the same time.

I put ceramic connectors in a few months ago and we'll see just how long those last. I also put shorter grounds in, using the brown ground wire at the lights, and running them to the "firewall" up front just behind the lights.

No problems with the Hella horns and they've been installed since about '09.
