also factor in that sometimes.. a seller may not even be sure they really want to sell, and they just put it out there to see if they'll get any nibles or even a bite on their price that they may know is even say, 40 % high.

that does happen. And to be offended , personally offended, that someone is asking 'whatever' for their roached out/medium ok/better than usual Fine Rig ....heck ..that borders on genuine codepedent behavior.

hey..I have this 84 tintop , nothing remarkable about it, it's named Yard Dog ... since I used it to haul gravel n' such around my place.. plus it's very oblique reference to the famous early days of rock n' roll and aweakening consicousness group the YardBirds ( I listened to that much in college in the 60's ..and it was really really great at the time, and still is,

and 3rdly ....that name references a performance group called the Yard Dogs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yard_Dogs_Road_Show

This music and performance group ... after seeing their show you will think that any band 'just playing music' is flat. Their act is 'everything' .. it's music absolutely ....their core instruments are percussion, accordian and trombone I think... in costume, vaudville style ... there's can can and vamp and sword swallowing and....etc. etc. Just a mind blowing performance..

AND for this fine 84 tintop ....no rust , normal dings on the left rear side ...clear title ...I will let it go with great regret for only $ 7,500 and that does not include engine ( I have lots of those though ) or transmission. Located Southern Oregon.

and really ...people who don't like what shows up on their computer screen, or tv .. should just not read or watch. No one is *forcing* anyone to read long rambling posts.. or take personal affront to what they regard as obscenely high asking prices. Duh. like sheesh !

I suspect people may really feel that safe anymore in the modern world possibly ...that's why acting out shows up here and there.

I have a set of bald 14 inch tires on vanagon steel wheels...$ 200 for the set. Not even vanagon rated tires.

it's been fun, Scott

I figured I'd get some low ballers but their low price would be where I was willing to sell.
