Subject: Windshield trim question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Listers,

My vanagon has the window trim on all windows and it is in good condition. The only issue is that on the windshield trim there is a larger then usual gap at the bottom and no trim connector.

Now that winter is here and I am finally going to have my van back from the mechanic to play with I wanted to address some of these minor issues.

I purchased some trim connectors from Bus Depot but they seem too short to fill the gap. they are almost the same size as the gap leaving nothing for them to hold on to.

The other issue may be that I have no idea how to put this window trim connector on. It has a little piece of metal in the center on the underside and I'm baffled as to what to do with it.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Man I'm looking forward to getting my bus home!
