I reckon you're right, but what do we actually know about how much it warms the oil?

I read that it puts out 250w - anyone have an estimate or actually measure how much temperature rise this would create in in the oil? If it preheated the oil to 100F on a 0F morning, then the $100 price tag could be justified, sure. But a 10 degree rise probably wouldn't be worth it. >> >> Sent from my 1963 maroon and cream 702B Western Electric Princess phone. >> >> > On Dec 23, 2013, at 10:16 AM, Ian Allan <ian.allan@BMTS.COM> wrote: >> > >> > In Canada NAPA has an oil pan heater obviously made for the WBX as it bolts on perfectly to existing fastener locations. Manufactured by Pyroil NAPA part number 6051500. It is a 250 watt heater with a 36" cord. Uses two existing fasteners. >> > >> > http://partimages2.genpt.com/partimages/255470.jpg >> > >> > Works very well. >> > >
