Yes it did. I crammed it in through the back hatch single-handed. This was a thick full size mattress with springs inside, not foam. First challenge was getting it started past the westy rear side cabinet. Pulling from inside got it past that. Then it pushed in from behind pretty easily until it hit the folded down seat. (rear cushion was already removed.) back inside for some pulling to get it past that restriction. Then pushing from behind alternately on each side and it went the rest of the way. Hopeful I will be able to get it out when I reach my destination! lol.
