Thanks Tom. Ya I figured that if I pressurized the rad with water, I'd see any leaks.

Unearthed the radiator from it's basement dwelling. Can barely see core via inlet but inlet/outlet and what I can see of tank look pretty clean.

In hindsight, the cut wires may indicate that the PO pulled this from a scrap Vanagon. I thought he bought it new! ;)

My 1988 Westy runs ok but there is a noticeable difference in temp gauge if heater is on or off (closed). I need to confirm temps with my infrared "gun".
