On insufficient pressure for the low pressure switch, the oil pressure warning light should blink. Over 2000 rpm if the higher pressure swith is not satisfied the still blinks and the buzzer will sound. Once it sounds only satisfying the high pressure switch or cycling the ignition will silence it.

Steve mentioned OP light, but later on spoke of coolant level sensor. Regular flashing is not an OP light symptom, but is indicative of a missing coolant sensor wire, which he says is the situation on his van.
