I have Tom, I’ve made 3 “alibachis” (as they came to be called). First and longest service one was based on Bill Mason’s design for a fire box used on canoe trips. The last one I made was from a smallish stainless steel colander with a coal grate and a grill surface. The Mason inspired one had the advantage of being collapsable and able to burn twigs and sticks. But the colander one worked quite well with charcoal but it wasn’t collapsable.

I didn’t even attempt to copy the Pyromid when i first saw it, too much sheet metal work :)
