Pretty sure that's a 'Mixes with Anything' coolant.

I suppose if one thinks one has really hard water they need to worry a lot about coolant type. Otherwise.. in 'normal places' like the West coast ..clean tap water and a high quaility anti-frz is just fine.

it's not so much about it being 'phosphate free' as it is about people not changing vanagon coolant and about all of it never gets out of the van in a coolant change unless you flush it extensively.

In words..'what you use' in not nearly as important as using something good, right.
